The Preppy Pony began as a small bow business, inspired by my desire to create fashionable and affordable horse show bows for my daughter. What started as a few handmade pieces quickly grew as fellow riders began requesting custom sets, and before long, I was setting up booths at local horse shows. Even after my daughter decided riding ponies wasn’t her path, the love for bold, preppy designs remained—and our signature bows are still part of what we offer today.

Over time, The Preppy Pony evolved into something more. As a nurse and professor, I became increasingly mindful of the ingredients we put on our bodies and began searching for simple, effective, and truly natural skincare. That journey led me to tallow—a time-honored, nutrient-rich ingredient that supports and nourishes the skin in a way modern products often overlook.

What started as personal use quickly became a passion.
